Shipping Policies
Our Grass-Fed Beef is shipped as a frozen product, which is highly perishable. For efficiency and freshness, we are utilizing Fedex 2-3 day ground services. Currently, this limits our service area to the following US states; CT, DE, IN, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VA, VT, WV. Orders will ship on specific dates which can be found on our website, or you can contact us for information on upcoming dates. You can expect your package to arrive 2-3 days after it has been shipped.
We reserve the right to change the shipping costs of our products at any time. Shipping costs will be provided on our website and at time of checkout. We will provide a notice to you before your order is shipped if any such changes have occurred.
Please ensure that the address you provide is accurate. Unless more specific instructions are provided, that will be the address used for delivery.
Your package is our responsibility during the packing process and transportation to the third party distributor (Fedex) to be shipped. Once the package is transferred to the third party, the package and product are in their care and no longer our responsibility. Any damaged, delayed, or lost packages should be discussed with Fedex. Refunds on shipped products will only be provided by Four Town Lowlines if/when a package is faulty, the insulation malfunctions, or the product was packed incorrectly causing it to spoil during transport. Refunds will only be issued if we are notifieed within 10 days after the date of delivery of your purchase.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: To maintain freshness of our product, we use dry ice pellets in our shipments. DO NOT handle dry ice pellets with bare hands. Do not store dry ice in air tight containers or freezers/refrigerators. Due to the perishability of frozen meat, it is important that you transfer the meat to your freezer/refrigerator as soon after the package is delivered as possible.
